Mushwani

Hand knotted pile tribal rug made with natural dyes and handspun wool. This cool new rug is woven in Afghanistan with a 19th century tribal Belouch design. Belouch rugs are perhaps my very favorite rugs for their delightful colors and evocative designs. Problem is, all the recent Belouch rugs on the market have been made with bright synthetic dyes. Problem solved in this rug! Great natural dye colors and luster filled handspun wool! This rug was modeled on wonderful Mushwani Belouch with the characteristic rippling and undulating designs.
