This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a soumac technique. Made with all natural dyes and handspun wool. The weft wrap soumac style of weaving gives these rugs a tight, sturdy texture and crisp definition. Soumac rugs are thicker and sturdier than most other flat woven rugs and hold up well to heavy use. These are woven with the Larhabi people’s indigenous carpet designs as well as some modern and Caucasian designs.
