Dancing Dragons

Hand knotted pile carpet made with all natural dyes, handcarded, handspun wool, and finely woven with around 200kpi. Asymmetrically knotted as is the tradition with the Ersari weavers who created this rug. Incredible dragons in this remarkable textile! This weaving project originated during the time these Turkmen people lived as refugees in Pakistan.
