Blue Chicken Rug

Hand knotted pile carpet made with all natural dyes, handcarded, handspun wool, and finely woven with over 100kpsi and a gorgeous South Persian Qashqai design woven in a blue color pallet. Asymmetrically knotted as is the tradition with the Ersari weavers who created this rug. This weaving project originated by Turkmen weavers weaving in remote villages in Northern Afghanistan.
