After Eight Years New York Shows the Rugs!

The Met is a great museum. And it has just gotten better! They just opened their totally redone “Arts of the Islamic World” gallery.

It used to be that whenever I travelled to New York, I would wander into the Met to view the spectacular rugs they had on display. But, for eight long years, those rugs have been hidden away. Well, the waiting is over!

So, if you are coming to San Francisco, wear some flowers in your hair. But, if you are going to New York, go to the Met to see killer rugs!

Check out this cool interactive page! You can see one gallery full of rugs in a 360 degree iterative view. Tres cool!
