Vintage Maimana Kilim

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave and made entirely of wool. This piece is around 50 years old. It is woven by Uzbek weavers in central Afghanistan near the city of Maimana. The archaic designs have changed little over the centuries. A real authentic tribal kilim rug!
