This vintage handmade kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave technique and made entirely with natural, un-dyed handspun wool. This wonderful kilim is probably more than 75 years old. It was woven in two smaller sections that are joined in the middle. This type of kilim represents a utilitarian type textile woven by tribal weavers. This kilim worked easily well as a floor covering, as a blanket, as a curtain, as a ground tarp and more! What a wonderful texture, coloration and feel this rug has!
