Vagireh

This sweet hand knotted pile carpet is made with all natural dyes and handspun wool. This lovely carpet is an exclusive product of Nomad Rugs. It is brought to you by ‘Humble Camel Productions’, (named for the cute camel in our logo) which is a creative collaboration between Nomad Rugs and Afghani and Pakistani rug producers. We strive to honestly create beautiful tribal rugs made with durable all natural materials and unique designs. This particular rug design was chosen from a beautiful antique Bidjar Vagireh. Vagireh were sampler rugs. In the 19th century, weavers were sometimes give vagireh, which contained all the element of design to complete a full rug, but they were woven in small sampler size. This unique 6×9 rug was modified from a smaller antique vagireh. It is woven in a finer weave of over 120kpi.
