Uzbek Kilim

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave technique. Made with all natural dyes and handspun wool. These kilims have a slightly rough primitive texture and a rich abrash. This makes them look much like the antique kilims prized by collectors. These rugs are woven in Afghanistan in the Maimana weaving district. Proceeds from the sale of this rug benefit Barakat Inc.
