Suzani Kilim

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave technique and embroidery. The colorful design is embroidered onto the plain-woven background textile by Uzbek craftswomen. Suzani is the Persian word for embroidery. A lovely tribal weaving, which could be used on the floor, on the wall or as a bedspread.
