Star Kelleh

A hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven in a sturdy weave of around 90kpi and features a Star Kazak design commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team in bold and bright colors. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes. These wide gallery runners are know as Kelleh size in the rug trade. This rug was custom designed and woven in collaboration with Nomad Rugs and entirely hand made. FREE Shipping and Easy Returns.
