Soumac

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a soumac technique. The weft wrap soumac style of weaving gives these rugs a tight, sturdy texture and crisp definition. Soumac rugs are thicker and sturdier than most other flat woven rugs and hold up well to heavy use. The design of this rug is based on a Serapi carpet.
