Hand knotted pile rug rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug comes from our Nooristan collection, one of the most finely woven carpets produced anywhere with natural dyes and handspun wool. The knotting is around 160 knots per square inch. This striking rug has the distinct design commissioned by Mamluk Sultans in their workshops centuries ago, but made in modern colors.
