Shirvan Square

Hand knotted pile tribal rug made with natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug, with its distinctly tribal design, was woven by Hazara weavers. The Hazara weavers produce a very finely woven supple carpet with a symmetrical knot. This knot with the fine supple weave gives these carpets the look and handle of old tribal rugs. This rug has the design of a classic Shrivan rug from the Caucuses.
