Shekarlu

This hand knotted pile tribal rug is made with all natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug was woven in a project whose goal is to pay homage to the art of the traditional tribal carpets. This rug is more finely woven with around 100kpsi and all wool warps and wefts.  This particular rug has a classic South Persian Shekarlu design with its zoomorphic elements and rich colors.
