Sari Silk Medallion

This striking hand knotted pile rug is made with handspun wool and sari silk highlights. The bursting bright accent colors in this rug are all sari silk; using remnant, re-spun silk from the mill ends of sari looms. Sari silk is varied and irregular and carries some of the residual colors of the saris they would have been. The classic medallion motif of this rug is exploding in a bold burst of joyful color. Thick and soft, this rug feels glorious.
