Rosette Heriz

Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with around 90kpi and a Heriz design made in lovely colors and commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team. A central rosette motif orients this rug around a center point. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
