This hand knotted pile rug is made with all handspun wool. Tightly knotted and thick heavy construction guarantee for decades and decades of use. It was woven in a small cottage industry weaving project were all weaving takes place in individual weaver’s homes. The elegant and variegated colors are highlighted by subtle banded designs and specs of brighter colors.  This makes for a gorgeous understated contemporary rug.
