Qashqai Square

This elegant hand knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This is one of our “antique revival” carpets; carpets that have the look and feel of antique rugs with none of the wear-and-tear. This rug matches and even surpasses the quality of the fine rugs woven over 100 years ago. Made with highly durable Ghazni wool, which comes from sheep bred in the mountainous Ghazni province between Kabul and Kandahar. This piece is woven with a classic Qashqai kilim design but of course this interesting rug is woven in hand knotted pile with a knot count of about 100 knots per inch.
