Pala Kilim

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave. This wonderful kilim was inspired in design by vintage Anatolian tribal coverings know as “pala”. Both the warp and the weft threads form the multi-colored banded design with the colored cotton warp threads showing through the handspun natural un-dyed wool wefts.
