This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave and made entirely of handspun natural undyed Afghan wool. It is woven by Uzbek weavers in central Afghanistan near the city of Maimana. The archaic designs have changed little over the centuries. This updated Maimana kilim has a wonderful texture and classy neutral tones; elegant, understated and refined.
