Natural Kilim

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave and made entirely of handspun natural undyed Afghan wool. These wonderfully elegant rug are colored only by the natural variations of un-dyed wool. It is woven by Uzbek weavers in central Afghanistan near the city of Maimana. The archaic designs have changed little over the centuries. This updated Maimana kilim has a wonderful texture and classy neutral tones; elegant, understated and refined.
