Meandering Mahal Runner

This dynamic hand knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and handspun wool. The thick pile in this rug is from lanolin rich Central Asia wool. And the rich wonderful colors have a subtly variegated abrash. This finely crafted rug is woven with a textured weave of around 60kpi. Hand woven in India, this rug embodies the spirit and heritage of traditional Oriental weaving. This unique runner was inspired from elements of an antique Persian Mahal carpet and custom ordered exclusively for Nomad Rugs.
