Mauve Mahal

Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with around 90kpi and a lovely Mahal design made in a unique palate and commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team. A wonderful background of soft plum set the tone with bold accent colors chiming in. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
