Hand knotted pile rug made using all long shag handspun wool. Woven with a kilim edge and all pile weaving in the center. This wonderful carpet is modeled after an antique Moroccan tribal rug. It is knotted in a textured weave of around 40kpi. This coarse knotting along with the long shaggy soft handspun wool and spontaneous organic designs give this rug a “modern tribal” feel.
