Mamluk

This hand knotted pile rug is made using 100% natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug comes from our Nooristan collection. Taking its name from the Afghan mountain province of Nooristan, this line constitutes one of the most finely woven carpets produced anywhere with all natural dyes and handspun wool. The knotting is approximately 15/15 or 225 knots per square inch. This striking rug has the distinct design and colors of a classical Mamluk rug. Mamluk rugs with their unique geometric designs are equally well suited for contemporary or traditional interiors.
