Hand knotted pile rug rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug comes from our Bamiyan collection, one of the more finely woven carpets produced anywhere with natural dyes and handspun wool. The knotting is over 130kpsi. This striking rug has a design inspired by rugs commissioned for Mamluk Sultans in their court workshops centuries ago.
