Long Runner

Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This twenty foot long runner is woven in a sturdy weave of around 90kpi and features a Harshang motif design commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
