Khotan

This hand knotted pile rug is made using handspun wool. This wonderful rug is inspired by an antique 18th century Khotan rug. The rugs from this region featured fascinating designs that combined elements from the different cultural influences in the ancient Kingdom of Khotan. The lovely and naturally variegated blues in this color lend a modern sensibility to this gorgeous carpet.
