Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with around 90kpi and a stunning Karaja design made with a modern color palate and commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team. Wonderful primary colors in this bold Heriz style rug. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
