Karaja Round

Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with around 90kpsi and gorgeous NW Persian Karaja design in rich tones that was commissioned especially for the Nomad Rugs team. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
