All Over Heriz

This dynamic hand knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and handspun wool. The thick pile in this rug is from lanolin rich Central Asian wool. And the rich wonderful colors have a subtly variegated abrash. This finely crafted rug is woven with a tighter weave of around 120kpi. Hand woven in India, this rug embodies the spirit and heritage of traditional Oriental weaving. The wonderfully decorative design of this carpet comes from a 19th century all-over Heriz lattice rug from NW Persia. A design classic!
