Hand knotted pile rug using all wool pile. This wonderful carpet is modeled after an antique Moroccan Beni Ouarain rug. It is knotted in a textured weave that has been purposely shorn to show low pile and foundation. This knotting along with the distressed finish lend this rug the ancient feeling of a treasured tribal textile. This carpet is a wonderful addition to an interior with its informal and organic tribal sensibility.
