Garden Rug

This hand knotted pile tribal rug is made with natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug was woven on commission for Nomad Rugs in a project whose goal is to pay homage to the art of classic antique carpets. This rug is woven with around 100kpsi and features a 19th century garden of Paradise design (with the word “Paradise” coming from the ancient Iranian word of “parādaiĵah” that denoted the verdant walled gardens of the courts).
