This hand knotted pile rug is made using 100% natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is finely woven with around 160kpi. The origin of “Paradise” comes from the Persian word for enclosed garden. Formal Persian gardens from the 16th century inspired this magnificent carpet with its sensuous cypress and almond trees and shrubs. The original Safavid carpet that served as the model for this modern day beauty resides in the Philadelphia Museum. A truly unique and luxurious carpet, this beauty pays homage to master weavers of ancient Persian.
