Finely hand knotted pile rug made using handspun wool. This rug comes from our Nooristan collection, one of the most finely woven carpets produced anywhere with handspun wool. The knotting is over 160kpsi. This striking rug has a design inspired by rugs commissioned for Mamluk Sultans in their court workshops centuries ago.
