This wonderful hand knotted pile rug is made with handspun wool and bamboo silk highlights and a thick 100kpi Tibetan weave. The cool blue colors in this rug are all bamboo silk. Bamboo silk fiber has a natural sheen and softness that feels and looks like silk and yet is more durable and easier to clean. And bamboo is one of the most sustainable natural resources know. The natural grey color in the rug is entirely handspun wool. The design is lightly sculpted in the pile to give a subtle high/low look.
