Color Kilim

This hand made kilim rug is flat woven in a tapestry weave and made entirely of wool. It is woven by Uzbek weavers in central Afghanistan near the city of Maimana. The archaic designs have changed little over the centuries. However, this newer kilim is made with updated vibrant colors using natural dyes to punch-up the palate.
