Brown Khotan

This hand knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This wonderful rug is modeled after an antique 18th century Khotan rugs such as this piece featured on this page. The rugs from this region featured fascinating designs that combined elements from the different cultural influences in the ancient Kingdom of Khotan. This beautiful carpet is woven an antique with low pile to give this rug the look and feel of an old rug. This lovely piece is made primarily in subtle shades of un-dyed natural wool with accent colors in natural dyes.
