Brown Bidjar

Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with around 90kpsi and a flowing Bidjar Garrus design made with an updated brown color palate and commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team. Wonderful colors and this bold all-over split-leaf motif style rug. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
