Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with around 90kpsi and stunning modern design with hints of effervescent forms rising from an abstracted core. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
