This hand knotted pile rug is made with all handspun wool with silk highlights. It was woven in a small cottage industry weaving project were all weaving takes place in individual weaver’s homes. This wonderful carpet is made with an evocative tribal design with lots of variations and colors and rich abrash. Small areas of ivory silk highlights catch the light in playful accents.
