Bidjar Runner

Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with over 100kpsi and a stunning Garrus design made with rich colors and commissioned for the Nomad Rugs team. Wonderful primary colors on an earthy background on this lovely Bidjar style rug. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
