Bakshaish Revival

This hand knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and handspun wool; commissioned by the Nomad Rugs design team and woven by Turquoise Mt. weavers. Several thousand women in Afghanistan are being supported in this weaving project which creates a sustainable livelihood for weaving families. This rug features a NW Persain Bakshaish design in lovely colors and a fine 130kpsi weave.
