Hand knotted pile rug made using natural dyes and handspun wool. This rug is woven with a fine 160kpsi and a unique Persian design that was commissioned by the Nomad Rugs team. A wonderful and whimsical scene is depicted in this textile. Weaving takes place in the northern areas of Afghanistan where the art of weaving is reverently passed on from mother to daughter with the weaving of these rugs taking place in individual family homes.
