This hand knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and handspun wool; commissioned by the Nomad Rugs design team and woven by Turquoise Mt. weavers. Over 900 women in Afghanistan are being supported in this weaving project which creates a sustainable livelihood for weaving families. Label Step ensure a comprehensive set of fair trade standards and environmentally friendly production. This rug features a lovely Anatolian village design in rich colors and a 90kpi weave.
